In the last 23 days, we had reports on 105 ZTBs, including 4 missing (Patient # 24 – Diego, Patient # 43 – Beverly, Patient # 186 – Mason and Patient # 192 – Rudiger). 2650 reports in the US, in 36 states, 551 reports in 20 other countries. Heavy activity in the Balearic Islands (in the Med, south of Spain) as well as the Languedoc area of France. New areas include Leira, and the Madeira Islands (Portugal); Okinawa, Japan; Lazlo, Italy; Hainaut, Belgium, and Costa Rica. Heaviest concentrations of infection overseas this time around were Spain at 125, France at 85, Germany at 72, and Portugal at 53. Slovakia, Hungary, Canada and Costa Rica all had over 30 hits each. In the states, heaviest concentrations of infection were as follows: Maryland 686, West Virginia 372, Connecticut 282, Virginia 111, Pennsylvania 101, New Jersey at 75, Utah 69, California 65 Hawaii at 57 and Massachusetts at 56. We suspect the upticks in activity in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia were the results of the recent “second wave.” There have also been reports of a new outbreak in northern Utah. Stay safe out there. as things warm up in the northern hemisphere, it is only bound to get worse.
